How are your feet?
The bones of your feet are designed to move with every step you take and this foot mobility actually influences how your ankles, knees, hips and spine all move and align with one another.
Ultimately, your feet are responsible for the alignment of the rest of your body. So, when you lock your feet away in shoes, especially tight and/or rigid ones, it’s going to have a negative impact on the whole system.
Locking your feet in little foot casts will necessarily interfere with your body’s ability to balance and align with the ground as you walk and run.
So let's release the feet and help the rest of the body.
Find a tennis ball or spiky physio ball and start rolling your feet from the ball of your foot all the way to your heel.
Hold on to a chair or wall for balance, if necessary.
If you find any sore areas pause there and gently press down into the ball and release. Do that a few times before you move on.
Spend a good 2 to 3 mins on each foot and have a little walk around in between to notice how it feels.
You'll be surprised how good this feels.
Do it daily and you'll soon notice the difference.
