Our First Fusion Class

February 13, 2017

Well what can I say? Maxine and I were delighted having taught our very first Fusion class at The Studio Dawlish last Saturday.

We were nervous, excited, worried, happy and certainly had butterflies in our tummies.

We prepared thoroughly yet as teachers we always worry whether everything will go to plan and how well the class is received.

We wanted to do something different and use all our teaching and therapist skills incorporated into one class. Maxine specialises in Yoga and I in Pilates, a match made in heaven, and we both also offer Thai massage.

So we created this unique class, blending Yoga - Pilates - Relaxation & Massage.

2 hours of "me time" to flow, unwind and solely focus on yourself with a little bit of help from us. :)

Our class started with a warm welcome, a short introduction, a warm up and then straight into a Yoga and Pilates flow for the next hour. We kept the class size small to allow one of us to give plenty of attention and necessary adjustments to the participants.

The class finished with a long relaxation phase and much needed downtime for the participants which also gave us the opportunity to provide a short Thai massage for each of them.

After the class we had a wonderful chat with our participants and offered tea, coffee and biscuits.

The feedback received has been amazing and we would like to thank our very first participants again for being such a great sport.

We loved it and are looking forward to our next Fusion class in the near future.

So please keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the next event. :)

Thank you,

Max & Di
